Does his nickname go from Joey Freshwater to Joey Swampwater?

so this comment on reddit, but "news is starting to spread" that Mullen being gone is ultimately a "done deal" and Kiffen is numero uno.

this isn't news. dbuchanon mentioned this here already, but it's starting to spread to reddit and other forums...

is that from someone at 247 or just someone that posts there?

The one guy who I did see peg things correctly before was that lawyer that writes Gator stuff for SDS sometimes. He said boosters said if Mullen didn't fire "multiple" coaches that week after that SC debacle he was going to be fired himself. I think he now says Mullen is probably here next season if he wins the last 2 games from what he has heard from them.

It appears that it’s originating from 247. Apparently, whoever is leaking this k go on 247 mentioned the TG/JH firings before the media did.

Well I hope its a valid source with real knowledge. I think we need to move on and Kiffin would be someone worth taking a chance on now that he is older.

Is Joey trying to be a HC or OC at every SEC school so he can write a book? If so, how long would he stay a UF?

No reason to leave a place where you can get the talent to have a chance at a national championship. Some people are claiming Miami is going to try and get him but I doubt he would leave for them in their current situation. If he did he probably would pull more of those top recruits down there however.

Spurrier and Kiffin have had a dust up or two, so you have to wonder if all that is water under the bridge...

Also Kiffin used to be a lights out recruiter because he cheated his arse off and by all accounts now he doesn't appear to be so lights out anymore.

Kiffin did pretty good for Ole Miss his first class. I wonder if this year so far is due to him knowing he is leaving. It sounds like Miami will take him if he will come. His agent or someone is feeding the press that he would leave Ole Miss. Hope we beat them to him and don't retain Mullen.

I could see him getting here (Gainesville) and doing some good things for a season or two then bolting for the bigger better deal. Possibly the NFL. He's the worst of the nomads, he's a hot burning star. he comes it hot and burns out quick. UF needs some god damn stability not a flash in the pan for a season or two then rinse and repeat.
