What would yalls thoughts be if he started for us instead of Grier?
I see positives and negatives to both. Just looking for some more input from my fellow gator fans.

Don't want him at Florida. I would prefer to let Harris or Grier play this year.

Agreed. It doesn't do us any good right now. Just a quick patch that I don't see helping us win a Natty or even the SEC immediately so it's better to look long term. Stick with Grier or Harris. If one of them does well we have a QB for 3-4 years. Why take the chance of just frustrating Grier and Harris and then leaving a huge hole with two inexperienced QBs again next year. If there's one thing I want to see this season, it's stability at the QB position which leads to the next year, something we definitely haven't had the past two years and I don't think bringing in Golson helps with that.

Rather have Harris or Grier gain valuable experience this year.

Bad JuJu he cant even win the starting nod at Nueter Dame....but the biggest reason is stirring pot with current players.

I don't see a need for him . UF is rebuilding so no need for a SR QB .the young guys need experience and we need to know how good they are .

BTW Jacob Guy the walk on is talented and has the prototype frame 6'5 and built stronger than # 3 and #7. He knows the offense as well as the aforementioned pair.
