Nice win over the VoLOLs last week.

Tom Petty Day at the Swamp for Charlotte.

Over/Under on the number of threads LSU fans make about Tom Petty next weekend?

One interesting fact about this game is Charlotte's QB. It appears to be one of the many recruits that were ran off from UF from Mullen's second class that never even made it to the season opener. He was on an FCS team last season. This team doesn't have much talent but isn't a total doormat like McNeese.

Jalon Jones was supposed to be the real deal. Him and Chris Steele were the highlights of that class.

I never kept up with Steele. Is he in the NFL now?

Apparently he's on the Seahawks roster, but doesn't seem to have any playing time.

The Gators nor the Gator fans can let down for any game. Remember LSU in Mullen's full last year. He rested starters and we got an L. This game probably turned the tide against Mullen and led to his firing. Petal to the metal Saturday.
Win the game by 50 if possible. Go Gators.

Mullen picked the Vols to beat us and sang 'rocky flop' so you bet your arse he's going to be cheering for his guy Jalon Jones.

Obviously pulling for Billy to succeed as a Gator fan in general, but I really want him to do great things here just so that prick Mullen could feel embarrassed about how he left this program in shambles.

I was reading some message board heresay about how Armstrong has a system of taking feedback from the position coaches, and how that's helped a lot in building a good culture on the defense. It also made me think of how TG wouldn't take any feedback from anyone. Mullen struck me like he didn't either. If he did, he probably would've made changes before it was too late. But it made me think of how the Mullen era was a bunch of clueless idiots in silos who thought they were the smartest guys in the room.

C RG and RT out for Charlotte. Slaughter, Harris and Hudson will get the nod.
They have played this season and Harris/Hudson looked very good

the 2 FR TE will get their starts as a tandem
Kamari not listed, I think he's about to portal

Has Kamari played at all this year? I think he's going to portal here. Message board insiders claim he's a bit of a diva and doesn't get along with others. Not sure how true that is, but I've been hearing that for a while.

I think he's had limited snaps but with a top 10 Defense and CRoy as his coach, if hes not up to par he can bounce if he wants.

Are those O linemen just out for the first half suspensions or are they out the whole game to heal nagging injuries?

Yep people say he is too slow to be a good SEC DB and he doesn't want to try being a LB. Trying to figure out his high school ranking if they knew his speed was suspect.
