Yet ppl will die in the hill saying it’s playcalling.

He rockets balls to guys 5 feet away, overthrew Bowman twice on would be big plays. Missed Ricky several times last week.

The ball through the uprights sealed it for me. I’m done.

This game was abysmal. Pretty much everything that could go wrong, did. The only thing I was unhappy with regarding play calling was going away from the run with AR as your QB. AR refusing to run the ball and his in opportune inaccuracy absolutely kills the offense. We should expect inconsistency with this team as it’s the same group of players week to week. Nothing will change for the better consistently until this roster turns over.

As long as our recruiting class holds together and we add some portal studs, next year will be a major stepping stone in the right direction. Have to stay the course with Napier as this is similar to the Clemson situation when Dabo took over. Year 3-4 are the pivotal years and I know that isn’t what Florida fans want to hear but this program needs a cleansing culture wise.

i'm not expecting next season to be much better with two classes under billy's belts. most of the starters this year will be leaving. next year's team will be very young with another QB that will have growing pains. more losses from LSU, Georgia, and Tenn/UK incoming.

The entire team is going to be a question next year. D line, LB's, O Line, wr's, QB, and this shitty coaching staff.

I get it, I don't want to admit it either. But, after what we saw vs Vandy.
What else can you call it?

Vandy's roster is not better than Florida's. Not even close. Any other excuses? I am chill. Just being realistic.

No excuses, just facts.

Young receivers had 5 big drops.
Very ill-timed penalties on both sides of the ball.
QB hit some missed some. Refused to pull when open grass was there.
Lost Miller
Lost Ricky
Lost Torrence
Our Safeties n Backers have been exposed in coverage all season. Miller n Perkins both gave up tds.
Special teams handed them 7 after a td
Zero OL push early, once we fell behind we had to play a different type of ball that we’re not built for.

Also facts.
We got whipped at the line of scrimmage by Vandy. When our O line has been the strength of the team, all season .
We couldn't run the ball vs the 125th ranked team in total defense. And 75th in rushing defense.

Arguably our best RB Etienne got 4 carries. Just last season Mullen was berated for not giving the ball to Dameon Pierce enough.

We couldn't run the ball, because our head coach made a concerted effort to throw the ball, all game. Even though it was cold, and we were missing starting wr's. If you guys can't admit that, then you're lying to yourselves.

I'm not saying fire anyone, that's insane so early into this staff's tenure. I'm saying some very questionable coaching decisions are being made on gameday. And hopefully they get fixed

It was the worse game plan and play calling since Mullen was fired. I believe they looked past Vandy and were working on the passing game for FSU or beefing up AR’s stats. While believing Vandy couldn’t beat us.

Teams that could need a new QB in 2023:
- Jets
- Colts
- Panthers
- Bucs
- Texans
- Commanders
- Giants
- Falcons
- Saints
- Lions
- Raiders?

AR gone, ya’ll.

Can’t believe how hard it is for ppl to understand how having a one trick pony at QB affects you as a playcaller.
Mullens offense with Franks was different with Trask. Consistency at QB matters.

Vandy had a common sense gameplan on defense. Attack downhill on run action n make AR beat you throwing. The odds are in your favor.
Yes he hit a couple big ones but missed more than he hit. Especially on 3rd downs.
Everyone knows by now, when we run, we win. Stop that 3 headed monster n make AR beat you from the pocket. I expect FSU to do the same and if ARs already making business decisions ie planning his leave, it’s gonna be a long day.

Uh, ahem. You answered your own question.
You think a play caller is gonna say Hey my guys are getting handled n the trenches, let’s run MORE

.

I fully understand that. I also understand why we only run about 10 different plays. That being said, it was Vandy. Most of the game they only put 6 in the box. AR didn't lose that game. Poor coaching decisions, costly penalties and a bad game plan, lost that game.

19 Carrie’s for 66 yards. That’s not counting Ricky slipping and the bad snap.

That and going down 2 tds n two plays kinda made us a passing team
