Seriously, I said before the season began, that UF is loaded with tons of playmakers at RB, WR, and TE (have a safe recovery McGee...).

This team will go as far as Driskel goes. The weapons are there.

Dunbar
Robinson
Fulwood
Debose
Bailey
Thompson
Pittman
Taylor
Jones
Powell
Lane
Burton

That is a shitload of playmaking capability.

No doubt. I've read some Alabama forums this morning, and supposedly our offense still sucks because we have "no playmakers".

UF has PLENTY of skill guys.

Our offense is a little better than West Virginia's I'd wager, and they gave Alabama fits in the secondary. We have tons of players with experience and skill and even some we hadn't heard of before until training camp. We're doing just fine on offense, let's just hope we don't shite the bed.

No one is giving UF props because the media has excluded us...but the time is coming where they will HAVE to give us our due...we punch Bama in the mouth, smother UT and then beat the beejeepers out of the lsu kitties...what are they going to say then?

Bama is over rated...a very good team...but not great and our defense will force them into third and longs by shutting down Yeldon/Henry...their qb/s will crap themselves when they face a real defense.

I agree we look 180 from last year and its a huge improvement. But until we do it on a team that didn't go 2-10 last year I am going to hold my opinion on our playmakers. My concerns on offense is can the line stay healthy and can we get separation against better CB's in the SEC. I am not worried about defense unless injuries come into play. The big plays we had running and passing most likely wont happen against your typical SEC defense. Lets wait until after the Bama game to talk about how great our playmakers are.

Their offense isn't nearly as potent as it was. Partially because they can't set up the running game -- and especially against our defensive front. Sure, it was EMU but we looked on point almost the entire game.

I really want to see our offense on the field, though, I liked what I saw. They were fast, made huge plays and kept the opponent's guessing and I'll wager we have some plans in a few games.

We don't need playmakers to beat Bama really...we just need our defense to shut down their run game and force them into throwing more than they want to. The more Bama punts...the more snaps we have and we wear them down with downhill running and a few change of pace throws....plus unleash two true frosh on them...Treon Harris and Brandon Powell. Sweet.

I will say (getting a little sick) that you guys looked good Saturday. IMO you are probably in the wait and see phase similar to UGA. Im holding my full judgement until we play USC this week as Im certain a lot of you are waiting until you play a more stout foe. Again(really getting sick now) you looked legit last week.

I have always known we had the ability to do better on offense. I still have doubts about 2 things. OL and QB. I also think our timing is off a bit, but after only one game in a totally new offense I think/hope that will get better the more we play.

Yeah, the good thing is that the East is finally looking...better. Sure, SC got curb stomped by A&M but honestly that monster may be impossible to stop on offense. We'll see if anyone can hold them under 28 points, but I like what I'm seeing out of the East this year.

Please.

Please beat Auburn.

I hope the entire state of Alabama goes up in flames this year. I hope both of them don't go to bowls.

Georgia will always disappoint in the end, but I just can't stand that state anymore.

I understand the sentiment because I lived in B'ham for 8 yrs.
But let's not lose focus here, we need GAg to lose as much as possible.
