Transitive property doesn't work in football. FFS. I'm done arguing with you. He started a true freshman at QB and RB. How did Mac do against Bama? I have no fricking clue what you're trying to say. Will a coach be affected by losing his QB? Yes. Jimbos track record shows He'll be fine. Mac's on the other hand says he won't.

I'm not. Is Meyer not a great coach because he's in the big 10? Dabo because he's in the ACC? Bob stoops sucked because he was in the big 12!!

Bile? We needed Kentucky to do something not even HS coaches do TWICE in their careers and a last second missed fg to get a win. Mac is winning on luck and it will run out. This is not sustainable. The shite offense and defense may win the East but we aren't beating Bama, FSU or making the playoff with it. It's going to keep us in 6-8 win mode whenv have a tough schedule and 8-10 when we have an easy one. I don't find nail biters with lesser talented teams entertaining. Especially when we need them to commit mistakes to win. I miss the days of SOS and Meyer when We knew no matter the opponent we were ready to play. We'd beat the frick out of the UKs and. FAUs. That when we took on the best in the nation we weren't happy to just be there and give it a shot. That we knew we were their equals and the game was going to come down to the last possession and we had a killer mentality. That UF was the only team that could stop us. Those days are long gone and won't becoming back soon.

I'm showing you how retarded you sound.
Will Grier looked pretty badass as a Freshman -- it's almost like sometimes they just need natural, God-Given talent along with getting coached up.
As for Jimbo: I'm making a satire out of your posts. You always talk about recruiting -- dude's in his seventh year and doesn't have a backup quarterback?
The point is, coaches slip up from time to time. Jimbo lost a game he shouldn't have, we lost a game we should have and managed to win against teams that we should have -- even if it was ugly.
I'd take 2 wins over Tennessee and Kentucky over 1 loss to NC State, hoss. All frickin' day.

i just think it's time to stop thinking about the past. We are who we are at this point and program change right this second seems impractical.

Here's a piece from Saban's post game press conference vs. Vandy.
0:12 - 0:37
that kind of mentality of coaching is what we need. like a lot of people here, skating by seems to be okay by the coaching staff. sure, a win is a win, but this team still lacks the respect it could have.
eta: there is no reason why we shouldn't put up less points on Vandy like Bama did. especially with the game being played in our house. we should dominate every aspect of that game this saturday.

Enough of this bullshite, back to back division champions, 2-0 this year in conference. We need to get better but give it a break and support the team, in all kinds of weather.......... Go Gators.

Comparing any team to Alabama and nick Saban right now is just stupid. I'm sure Mac wants to destroy people too but until uf gets there we'll take the win.

Whats funny about TJ
He makes excuses for Jimbo because he lost his QB to injury but when we lost our QB we were still supposed to beat a healthy FSU and Bama

It's hard but the best way to deal with TJ is to ignore him and hopefully he will go away.

I get what TJ is saying. IMO Mac agrees with him. Hince the dejected post game interviews. He expects more out of this team than 1 good quarter of football.
Nuss (and Mac) need to figure out how to teach Franks (or Trask) how to make protection calls or find a center that can pick up the slack. Franks and McCoy should not be on the field as QB and C right now.
Del Rio is a liablity with his arm but that is easier to scheme away than Franks/McCoy's protection issues.

Urban Meyer lost to Ole Miss at home, had to beat Arkansas on a last second field goal at home, had to beat South Carolina on a last second field goal, got blown out by Georgia with a Heisman QB, had to go to OT to beat Vanderbilt, lost to an unranked South Carolina team, only beat Vanderbilt by 6 in 2006, lost at home to unranked Auburn, lost at home 10-7 to Mississippi State, got blown out by FSU once , and Alabama his last two times playing them.
Urban was great at florida, but don't pretend like we were ready to play every single game. There was plenty of shitty football that we played under Urban, particularly in year 6.

Cmon Finch. We know that all coaches (except Muschamp) want to win games comfortable.
