Problem is LDR maybe our best option the next two years. At least the East is bad.
From the SECr and Sagarin. The SEC East is the worst P5 division.

Still, he converts 3rd downs, keeps the offense on the field longer, keeping our defense rested, and UF would have been perfect in the red zone yesterday if not for our kicker being suspect in short to mid range field goals.
This is the most important part. We can win close games with this type of play, and we can wear out defenses to steal some at the end of the game.
At the end of the day: Vanderbilt and Missouri aren't beating us, really, no one in the East is if we have a good quarterback.
Sure the East sucks, but I'd rather win a shitty East than lose it -- which is what's happened for a while now. We're in it again, we just need to win the next two out of three.

I'm sorry you're so upset that your Noles lost last night TJ

With Grier: Imagine this scenario.
We don't get any transfer quarterbacks, no new commitments other than Franks and Trask behind him. That's two true freshmen, and obviously it'd be hard to recruit another quarterback because it'd be pretty obvious they're not going to beat out Grier for another two years at the minimum.
In this scenario, those are our three quarterbacks, period. A two-star and a flipped dual-threat with no one on the horizon for a while.
He pisses hot a second time.
Now we're down to two true freshmen quarterbacks, and once again Del Rio (but he would almost certainly have transferred).
Literally the same situation, but Grier made a stupid decision. If he got caught, he'd be barred from playing ever again.
Mac made the best decision he could, and didn't tolerate bullshite cheating. Grier made his own bed, and Mac is doing what he can to win and is doing so.
What's his record in the SEC at this point?
11 - 3?
Holy frick, man. You want to fire a coach who went 11 - 3 in the SEC? With those losses all happening at Away games with second string quarterbacks?
Hold on, man.
Hold on.
You want to fire a coach whose only losses are: At Death Valley, At Neyland and At a neutral site (Alabama) with his second string quarterback? (Treon was not even a quarterback).
Who is 11 - 3 in the SEC? Man, you may want to consider switching fanbases. You clearly belong at LSU.

Well damn, I guess we should just forfeit the season then and hire Bill Belichek in the off season.
Posted on 10/30/16 at 1:56 pm to slayerxing
Belichek and Brady as a package deal IMO.
Its only fair.

Who's he beat in that 11-3 record? UT/UGA and scrubs.
Posted on 10/30/16 at 4:29 pm to TJGator1215
frick you TJ.
You should be more worried about your Noles being 5-3.
He beat #3 Ole Miss. 3-1 against our big SEC East rivals and his one lost coming in Knoxville with our back up quarterback.
Loss in Death Valley with Treon. Lost to eventual national champions.
Go watch your average arse piece of shite school in Tallahassee and stop trolling our boards. We'all see your bitch asses at the end of November

I've been a gator for 30 years and on this board since it was created. You guys saying otherwise doesn't change that.

So, what's the point of publicly belittling the HC? He has done a pretty decent job so far, no reason for it iyam.

Because he's a troll and a FSU fan
He wants results but 11-3 in the SEC and 16-5 overall and undefeated with his starting quarterback doesn't work for him.
He says he hates Mac because of his confidence and saying "he can win with his dog at quarterback"
....Well he has won and won a lot with a quarterback that his dog may actually be better than. It's not pretty all the time but he has WON. So frick him and let's enjoy our coach and this team. It's fun to watch.

LDR has had 2 mediocre games in a row. He is about 1 second late on all of his throws right now and that is hurting.
This is what I saw Saturday, he is thinking too much and waiting too long to turn the ball loose.

We beat our rival by 2 TD's and you make a thread about the offense sucking?

What's crazy is that they double us in the number of blue chip recruits.

Georgia has had more or similar talent for a while. Everyone knows their issue is coaching. If they ever get the right coach they could be a juggernaut.

Yes as could anyone. Luckily they are stuck with Moe for a little while longer.
