Can’t believe Jordan Travis broke his leg.

Y’all see Billy standing 60 yds down the field from where the actual game was being played?

That was strange. Usually the coach wants to be right there regardless if he has nothing to do with the defense.

His defense was on the field. He knew the actual game would be down there in 1 or 2 plays.

Finebaum is on the SEC channel this morning trying to destroy our recruiting class. Basically telling recruits they should jump ship if we lose to Mizzu and FSU.

Because he gets paid off of ratings and chaos. Nobody gives a shite what Finebaum thinks that's actually locked in to the football programs. Finebaum is a surface level troll.

Should jump ship after losing playing a bunch of backups and freshman and the starting QB going down after taking a top 10 team down to the wire on the road

lol he’s a hack

I like Deboer but UW has been squeaking out wins every week, and Fisch is nice because the UF ties but he really has one season as a successful coach. Went 1-11 and some other losing season his first two years. Not saying he's bad but he needs to show more to stir interest.

I'm not against putting out feelers at this point but none of those names seem like it's worth canning
napier now to replace with one of them.

Maybe Lanning if he were interested or if Urban wanted to come back. sure.

I personally like Lane but would rather give Napier another year before firing him and replacing him with Lane.

Good coach but he grew up in Louisville. I think he'll be there a long time.

Chadwell is interesting but is literally another sun belt coach.

Coached at Coastal and Liberty, both in the sun belt. Some of our fans just think firing a coach will solve our problems when obviously there's much more to it than that.

I'm not totally against moving on from Napier if a really significant upgrade shows interest, but if it's another guy with a hot year or two or a G5/lower P5 type guy, might as well stick it out another year or so to see if Napier can turn it around imo.

Agreed, I dont want to fire just for change. Next guy has to be an obvious upgrade

I think we will be doing this again soon if we fire just to fire.

Kind of felt we did that with Mac in 17. No he wasn't the answer and that was pretty clear, but he had done just enough until that year to warrant giving him 2018 to be his make or break year, plus he had a top 5 class brewing that year until he got fired.

Well, what do we do? We hire Dan Mullen, literally the worst possible hire we possibly could have made besides Willie Taggart. Although Taggart had the possibility of growing into a new coach. Strickin knew what Mullen was and still decided to hire him. Should have been fired for that imo.

And now we are where we are.

For me, fire Napier now if

-Urban wants to come back
- Lanning is seriously interested

Give Napier a year, and if it fails go hire
- Lane
- Ryan Day if he wants out of Ohio
- maybe Fisch or Debeoer depending on how Fisch does next year and how Deboer does without Penix and all those WRs. I think Devoer is a longshot due to his West coast background.

I'd prefer Lanning to Urban in 2023

UF just hasn’t been that school that gets top names for big bucks
Hell Spurrier and Meyer were up n comers from smaller programs.

It would take a big bag to pull Lanning and I just don’t see us doing it

True, but maybe after Mac and Napier not working out and with Sasse, they might want to try something new?

Cheap hires

Lane - he really wants the job bad
Bell - one of ours.
Frost- kick the tires
