Ok....heres what Im seeing through my O&B glasses.

QBs: Del Rio, Franks & Trask a jr, two r/s frosh (not including any incoming true frosh)

RBs: Scarlett, Perine, Thompson, Cronkrite, jr, soph, sr & soph

WRs: Calloway, Powell, Cleveland, Hammond, Swain, Massey, a jr, sr, soph, soph, soph, r/s jr (?) are top five

TEs: Goolsby, Lewis, sr, jr.

OL: Sharpe, Ivey, Jordan, Dillard, McCoy, Johnson, Taylor, Harkless, Forsythe, Heggie, Riles, Mike, Sandifer, Desir-Jones sr, jr, sr, soph, jr, soph, jr, r/s frosh, r/s frosh, sr, jr, r/s soph, r/s soph

Special teams: Townsend, Pineiro sr, jr ( I think Eddie was at jr college for 1 yr.)

DL: Bryan, Clark, Davis, Jefferson, Reed, Sherit, Smith, Zuniga, Clayton, Polite, and maybe Brantley returns. jr, jr, jr, jr, jr, sr, soph, soph, soph, soph and possible sr.

LB: Anzalone *, Johnson, Reese, Joseph, Moon, sr, soph, soph, soph & soph

DBs: Wilson *, Dawson, Gardner, Washington, Harris, Burnett, Lenton, Putu, Taylor, sr, sr, soph, sr, sr, r/s frosh, r/s frosh, r/s jr, soph

In summary-offense- we are good at QB...I think Franks will win out in spring ball, have quality. At RB, good quality and need more depth as frosh. WR, ditto but need frosh depth and game breakers, TE, need frosh depth asap, OL very good and will be even better in 2017....just need a few more for depth and a priority in 2018.

Special teams- we need depth here and a search should be underway to replace Townsend who is awesome and ditto Eddie.

Defense- DL needs depth with so many upperclassmen. Brantley might return...you never know what his draft stock might be. LBers needed asap and a priority. DBs ditto but we have a lot of talent committed or soon to be committed.

I firmly believe 2017 will be a very good year and the offense will be better suited to run the ball...which you have to have to win SEC games. Defensively we wont drop much...but will need quality frosh coming in to fill shoes asap. The future is bright. Recruiting wise we need LBs and TEs...already have DBs ready to come in with our roster being depleted soon. In 2018 we need OL & RBs & WRs.

Listen, the way the OL is coming together, and the way the young guys have been playing in the front 7, with scarlett coming back and a lot of talent at the skill positions, UF will be a legit playoff contender if they can find a serviceable QB.

That's it, and it's been the same story for a lot of years.

The difference next year is that Florida has more talent around whomever is the QB than they have had in a long time.

The schedule is tough though.

I hate we open with Michigan. Other than that, the season doesn't look all the bad...

Michigan will be a tough game, but they looked like a different team with that quarterback that's presumably going to be their starter next year.

I'm not so sure they won't take a step back next year.

Meatchicken is overrated imo. We didnt show up last year because the defense and the offense were at odds with each other by then....cant really blame the defense.

We will have UT, Vandy, LSU, Texas A&M and the girls school at home....away games are UK, USC, Mizzou and thats the only away games....plus UGA at the WLOCP in Jax. Very doable.

A&M will take a step back imo on defense and some stars on offense will be gone. UT will be very mediocre, LSU ditto, and the girls school have to play in the Swamp.

UK, USC & Mizzou should all be slightly improved with the dawgs a question mark because of defensive starters gone and they lose some OL. We have chance to make early statement with Meatchicken.

The game next year that scares me the most is @ South Carolina

Considering we only have 3 away games (two neutral sites, one out of state) and they're at the worst teams in the SEC, we're in good hands.

AT Kentucky, AT Missouri and AT South Carolina is a cakewalk.

Muschamp is literally running the same offense, the same defense and the same team -- just with less talent. We should have beaten them by 40.

From September 9th to October 24th we have ONE away game. 1 away game out of 7. Holy shite.

Thanks LSU.

UF went in and snatched their hearts right out of their chests, and crushed them.

Assuming I'm still in TX, I'd like to make it for the game. Yeah, I'm just not a fan of them

Sep. 2 Michigan Wolverines - IN DALLAS
Sep. 9 Northern Colorado Bears
Sep. 16 Tennessee Volunteers
Sep. 23 at Kentucky Wildcats
Sep. 30 Vanderbilt Commodores
Oct. 7 LSU Tigers
Oct. 14 Texas A&M Aggies

Oct. 28 Georgia Bulldogs
Nov. 4 at Missouri Tigers
Nov. 11 at South Carolina Gamecocks
Nov. 18 UAB Blazers
Nov. 25 Florida State Seminoles

Here's how I feel about the 2017 schedule. Michigan is going to be a dog fight. I think they will take a big step back losing so many seniors, but Harbaugh is a good coach, and they will be well prepared. UF could easily lose this game.

Northern Col =99% chance to win.

Tennessee is losing a ton this year, so it'll be interesting to see how good/bad they are next year. The streak is over, so they will be coming in with confidence for the first time in forever. I wouldn't exactly call it an easy game, but at least it's at home and UF will probably be favored, and whomever is QB for UT will be making their first SEC road start.

Florida hasn't lost to Kentucky in literally a generation, but this will probably be the best UK team UF will have faced in a while. Still - UF is just better, so I see a UF win.

Vanderbilt has played UF hard consistently for a while now. I don't see why that will be any different next year, but it's a home game, and I just don't think Vanderbilt's offense is good enough to threaten Florida, but with that Webb kid, if they find a QB, they may be a tough out.

LSU at home will depend on a lot of things. Who is their coach? How do they recruit this cycle? How many players transfer out? Etc. They will be in transition, but whoever comes in should have a lot of talent to work with - still I like UF at home during an LSU transition year.

TAMU is just a hard team to read. They will be replacing their QB, but will have a strong running game. They lose both starting tackles but should still be OK on the line. Their DL will lose a ton of talent but their back end looks solid. This won't be an easy game, especially right after LSU, which is always a dog fight, and after playing 7 straight games.

Georgia in Jax is going to be tough, as always. They have recruited well on defense, and Eason is going to be a good QB if they ever find an OL to keep him protected. .

Two road games in a row, at south carolina, who will be much improved, and at missouri right after. South Carolina improved a lot this year and they bring back a ton of guys. Missouri had the best offense in the league and brings almost everyone back. Those will be two tough games, on the road, late in the year.

UAB - 99% win

FSU is always tough. UF hasn't beaten them at home since 2009. Tough game no matter how you slice it.

This is a tough schedule. The only benefit is that most of the games are at home. UF will be attacking this schedule with either LDR, or a RS freshman QB, so we don't know at this point if UF will have a good QB. We hope so, but we don't know for sure. The defense will be good, but not as good. Special teams should be lights out. But still, a lot of unknowns this far out, but right now, even with an improved offense, this could easily be another 8-4 or 9-3 year just because of the level of the competition.

Who the hell is their RB? Are you kidding me? Thats why they have lost games..Sumlin still has that mindset of throwing trumps everything. They lose Myles Garrett and 2 DL, MLB & a staring safety...naw....they be beatable.

Eason is going to be a good QB

WTF? Who is Eason going to throw to? His tight end and who else? I have heard rumors that the locker room is not all that happy with Prince Charming being the teachers pet. Their defense is 2018 away from being good at least...and as always? They've been tough? Dont think so.

UGA's defense was actually pretty good this year, aside from the game @ Ole Miss.

They were ranked 18th in the country in total defense when we were 2nd...but they are losing Mauger & Sanders in the secondary and most likely Lorenzo Carter their OLB who was their only real threat to pass rush...plus their WR corp was awful...one of the worse in the SEC...so many dropped passes and lack of effort by them.

Other than the three I listed as leaving...who the hell do they have? Their defense was helped out by their run game and of course that fizzled against good defense. The OL was middling....and they are losing three starters off on that unit. There are problems in the locker room and Smart would be wise to start over and he will be better when he gets his players in.

Good points. I think UF is well setup for another East run next year and a possible run at the CFB playoff.

All of the young guys balling on both sides of the ball have me so fired up for the future. We just beat the team that supposedly had the most talent in the conference coming into the season and was supposed to win the SEC and play in the playoff.

Even if they haven't become a playoff team, they're still talented and we went into their backyard and beat them. I love it.
