With Martin and Staley getting their programs into the national spotlight and proving great things can be done here, who has more pressure in the next few years: Muschamp and the football program, or Holbrook and the baseball program?

Muschamp: has been able to design his own ops building, has glittering facilities, and has a cotton candy soft east of which to take advantage. But Clemson has a natty, the NC schools are improving, and Bowlcut is recruiting well in Athens. The football program has tasted rock-solid success, but has a longer slog to get there.

Holbrook: has a program with national championships, a great tradition, and the ability to recruit nearly every kid he wants. His boss is the former coach, and has shown a great deal of patience. But, he hasn't been to Omaha as a head coach, and has shown a lack of foresight when it comes to game management. Fans probably have higher expectations here than in football, but the national spotlight isn't a tenth as bright as Muschamp's.

Who has more pressure? Who has the harder job? Who is more likely to succeed?

Holbrook, because he has big shoes to fill and hasn't come close.

Toss up here. Muschamp has a hard job competing with the "bigger" schools for talent. Holbrook has a hard job because he is loaded with talent but is in fact an idiot.

Muchamp, because bringing even moderate success and competing year in and out for the east will be viewed as success whereas Holbrook must compete in omaha year in and out to be viewed as successful.

Muschamp took over a program that Spurrier had let run off the road. Holbrook took over the premier program in the country. Apples to oranges. Holbrook by a mile.

Muschamp. We got beat like a rented mule by our in-state rival who also won a national championship. While we showed improvement, I don't think the fan base would be too happy with another 6-7 season.

Gonna have to say Holbrook, most fans understand the shitshow Boom inherited. The staff worked a miracle this past season. Gonna take 2 more years to flip the roster.

Holbrook took the best program and has managed to destroy all momentum we had there and doesnt seem to have learned shite from his past mistakes.
