Because when healthy he's very shifty.

People downplaying that are butthurt.

But everyone else we lost was or is going to be replaced..

I give beamer a solid 7 out of 10 for his efforts.

It will, but look at this this way. If he'd never gotten hurt, he'd be on his way to the pros this year anyway.

It's part of the beauty of this sport. The "kids" that come and play for us only have so many years here and then they're gone.

Unless you're Dak Joyner....

Based off of his production and not his ability we won't miss him at all.

Why? Based off of his HS rating? Based off of his potential? Maybe but the fact is he has been injury prone and if you looked at his stats, without seeing his name, you would say he isn't that big of a loss.

Yeah, losing the only competent back we had won't be noticed at all. If you're upset he left or think he should have done better, that's cool. But to say he won't be missed at all is a bit absurd.

Lloyd avg 400 yards and 5 touchdowns in the last two seasons. If you don't think we can match that production than you're delusional. I'm basing my opinion off of numbers only not his name nor potential and you call me absurd.

competent doesn't count if you're not playing.

Again, if you think we won't miss him at all, you're just dead set on being right with an edgy statement. Grats, the rest of us are just too dumb.

2 career 100 yard games. 6 career fumbles , 18 carries for 47 yards in his last two games. 901 career yards in 21 games.

He had potential, but we arent really missing any production from him that can't easily be made up imo. Its not about butt hurt its about the fact he was a bust.

Yeah I don't miss him at all. He didnt want to be here, and his numbers were average. Its not an edgy statement at all. Carolina has replaced talented backs with talented backs time and time again. Lets say we land Bernard, do you still feel the loss of Lloyd? What if Braswell plays well?

I wouldnt put the guy in the top 20 rb's that SC has had.

Exactly. Remove the name and just go by the numbers. We will easily replace his production.

I think Lloyd showed some signs during the season of the back he could be, but never really materialized. I don't think our run game was good at all early season, mostly due to play calling. It wasn't until (except for inferior opponents) they started putting Nate Adkins in to open holes and make plays happen that Lloyd started breaking off some decent gains. I don't think Adkins has any eligibility left, but losing him is far worse than losing Lloyd, IMO.

I agree losing Adkins is a bigger loss. Lloyds two good games were UK and Charlotte. He was non existent after Kentucky.

To the OP what are we missing outside of the numbers? Leadership...(I think the opposite) , Toughness? (he had a hip bruise and didnt play until clemson so nah) ...
