A guy who is interesting may bring this thin full circle. Elliot is heading to Georgia Southern, a team that has only been in existence since 2014 (per sports reference, idk that is accurate tbh). During the 14 and 15 campaign, Georgia Southern had, ironically, had one of the best rushing attacks in CFB. In 2015 they went to a bowl and threw up 58 on Bowling Green. They, during that same year, had 5 guys rush for over 500 yards including 2 QBs.

Ladies and gentlemen, for your entertainment pleasure, I submit my choice for Shawn Elliot's replacement. Former OL coach for Georgia Southern, current OL coach from Tulane, Alex Atkins.

Elliott is headed to Georgia State, not Georgia Southern.

This is a good move for Elliott. He may prove to be a great head coach, tbh. State is taking over Turner Field next year, so they will have a stadium to play in.

Took some classes at State. Commuter school, but it's a great fit for Elliott. Good move for everyone.
