Give this thing one last thought with regard to Elliott.
Who will be on his staff at GA St?

Spurrier Jr will be his OC.
As far as anyone else from the old staff who knows.

Hard to say if he can or will poach from the current staff. I highly doubt he could call any of the old staff if he is as bad about "weaseling" as they say.
Basically I got nothing. I'm medicated and don't have any current thoughts.
Thanks for reading.

i hope he has tons of success at GSU and goes on to become the best he can be. Very likable guy with passion for what he does.

Ellis Johnson would be a loss if Elliott offers him the DC job

Doubt Ellis takes it....His wife fought hard to get him to come back to Cola. Personally think he goes young or a friend at DC.

Hopefully he would be smarter and hire GA as his OC.

He offered Bentley the OC position already, but he declined.

I would have stabbed elliott in the neck if he took Bentley.

This could be right.
I've heard rumblings that since he said he wants to transfer and play QB, he might offer Nunez a scholly? I would.

That's what I was thinking. He might get the guys back together.
Mangus is at SC State right now. He's a possibility.
Spurrier Jr is a QC Coach at Okie. He's a possibility.
Whammy is a DC at Fresno St. He's a possibility, he could use his GA recruiting connections.
Shaq Wilson is a QC Coach at SC now, and he's a possibility.
Grady Brown is a Birmingham-Southern. I don't think he's likely though.
Joe Robinson is at Texas Tech and is probably not likely to leave for Ga State.
Kirk Botkin is the DC at SC State with Mangus, he could be a possibility.
Everett Sands is the RB Coach at UT-San Antonio. He's a possibility.
I think Elliott will not have a problem building a staff. Honestly, some of the coaches above aren't SEC level coaches, but they could be phenomenal D-1A/Sun Belt Conf staff. They won't have to worry about recruiting high profile guys, but they will have to be GREAT evaluators of 2* talent. GA is loaded with guys who can play football, but not at Ga Tech or UGA. Elliott will be in a geographic area that will help him recruit naturally.

Why would he leave?

He is a east coast guy and could recruit better out here.
Also his defense was awful this year and Fresno St went 1-11. He might not have a job there much longer

I kinda feel bad for the kid and wouldn't really blame him if he did transfer. Wouldnt really have any effect on us, anyway.
So, he tried to take Bentley with him, ay? Wonder if he thought by taking daddy, his son would go with him? And that DEFINITELY answers the "does he really love this University like he claims to" question. No, he does not. Hope he doesn't think he is gonna waltz back in here and be offered the HC position in the future. We better not be that damn stupid.
