Good job. I have been to many Final Fours, but I can't make it this year, but hopefully we'll have a lot of fans able to go. Not sure when you're going, but keep in mind there is an open practice for all teams on Friday, they'll have a huge convention for the NABC going on so go out and have a great time. You'll literally have a chance to run into any college basketball coach in America pretty much. It's a huge 4 day party atmosphere any basketball fan should try to see at least once if possible.

I can't afford that shite on a state employee salary. I can barely afford my apartment and live the lifestyle I currently enjoy - which is going out a LOT. I just cannot justify spending a minimum 2.5Gs to go out there when I owe about 3.5G on my car still and am just staying afloat in life. Before I moved to the apartment I'm in now, I lived with my brother in a house in Rosewood paying DIRT cheap rent since it was split. Then he got married. Ever since the cushion I used to have to actually go on trips and do shite has been depleted since I was spending more in a month than I was making for so long. Have a decent chunk of change in savings but I don't consider that disposable income.

You lucky bastard. It's great to see the amount of Gamecocks going out to Phoenix.

I was present in NYC and celebrated far too hard. My wallet is on life support as a result. Wish I could be in Phoenix.

I'm having to pull out all the stops for this one. My in laws surprised me with flight tix on Monday. I was supposed to leave tomorrow night and fly from Cola to Phoenix. What they didn't know, and I forgot about at the time is that Friday is the last day of the quarter. Its kind of a big deal to close out strong so my boss was strong arming the hell outta me.

There are no flights late enough to do shite out of CAE, CLT or ATL into Phoenix on Friday and the earliest any of them could get me into Phoenix on Saturday was right after tip off.

Solution: My boss is letting me leave at noon on Friday. I am driving up to charlotte. Flying from Charlotte to ATL, ATL to Salt Lake City, Salt Lake City into freaking Tuscon. Renting a car, driving two hours to Phoenix.

I WILL NOT MISS THIS GAME. I WILL NOT BE DENIED. GOD WILL BLESS MY EFFORTS WITH A NATIONAL frickING CHAMPIONSHIP!

That drive from Tucson into Phoenix is absolutely gorgeous.

But there is nothing, and I mean nothing, between the two cities.

As a fan of roadtrips, a SC-AZ roadtrip sounds amazing right now. Even the ~800 miles of Texas.

I've almost done that. Tucson to Atlanta.

West Texas exists to hold the earth together, but it's worth it. Beautiful drive, if you enjoy road trips.

Can't speak for west Texas but there are miles and miles of ranch land in Texas and it's beautiful. Speed limit can also get up to 80 mph.

I'm currently in Pensacola, 9 hours driving was enough for one trip. At least the sports bar in the area of the hotel knows me now and since it's my birthday they told me next time I come in first rounds on the house :)
