TE- Jared Cook - Packers
Cook is sitting behind Richard Rodgers on Green Bay’s depth chart, but he is the more talented player and should eventually get the starting nod. Rodgers is a plodding route-runner, which did not stop Aaron Rodgers from turning him into a viable fantasy option last season.

When Cook eventually supplants Rodgers, he should get plenty of red zone targets. Packers coach Mike McCarthy likes to draw up plays for his tight ends in that area of the field. Rodgers finished sixth among tight ends in red zone targets last season. Expect that number to jump considerably now that the Packers have a mismatch nightmare at the position.

Cook has disappointed fantasy owners in the past, but he’s never played with even a league-average quarterback. Now he’s playing with one of the best.

WR - Bruce Ellington - 49'rs
Chip Kelly’s fast-paced offense can be fantasy gold. We don’t know if the 49ers offense will be very effective in 2016, but we do know it will run a high volume of plays — many of which will come with San Francisco trailing and needing to chuck it deep. So even if the ultra-athletic Ellington isn’t the most polished receiver, he’s going to put up numbers.

Need proof? Just look at Jordan Matthews’ 2015 season in Philadelphia. Matthews was terrible last season but still managed to snag eight touchdowns on an undeserved 127 targets. Ellington should play the Matthews role for Kelly in 2016.

Raise your hand if you've been burned by the Jared Cook hype train before?

You'd get ridiculed if you drafted him in my 12 team league, and our league is mostly USC grads.

I had him one year and other than one game, he rode my bench. The week before I started Cook, he actually had a good game. It was do or die for me so I took a chance and got burned.

He started one season w/ a few TDs and I went all in on him w/ a trade. Didn't do anything the rest of the year.

Every year someone hypes him as a breakout candidate b/c of his ridiculous athleticism. He's 29 now, though. Isn't gonna happen.

I've been burned by SC bias. Picked up Rice the year after his big one with Favre. Didn't do much of anything afterwards.

shite the way Pharoah has been looking he should be on that list. Not sure if he will get a starting role or not but he has been spectacular in the preseason games.

The Rams base offense is a 2 TE Set. Justice Cunningham is the #3 TE overall and on the 2 Deep. Pharoh has been making plays this preseason and his stock is rising. Currently, he's on the 3rd Team behind Britt and Marquez.

Bruce Ellington is on the 1st Team as a Slot WR for the 49'rs, but he just hurt his hamstring. They don't know how serious it is though, but he walked off on his own power.

Cook is currently behind Richard Rodgers as TE for GB, but he's been outperforming him and the chatter from their fans is they want to see Cook ahead of him.
