Also long time DE commit Tyreek Johnson is going to grayshirt due to a shoulder injury/surgery. Should be interesting to see how the numbers "work out".

He's pushing Jamyest to UGA. From what I understand it's not working - evidently there is some history there, late involvement, etc. Jamyest is independent as heck.
Beal is recruiting for UGA - he's out unless we pull off a miracle with him.
Wyatt is still up in the air, no one has a good finger on the pulse of that one.
Johnson is leaning our way ... credit Ulrich with that, but it is not a done deal, just yet.
Kinlaw is a big big get.
This has the potential to be our finest DLine class in history, by far. What a helluva DLine class this might turn out to be.
Wideman is probably not going to survive this past Spring practice unless he really turns it around.

This seems to be what most of our folks think too. While many still think we have a 50/50 shot it seems like we will keep Wyatt and yall keep jamy. (unless he does what Dad wants)

It was announced on twitter that Jamyest would be announcing at 2:15 tomorrow at his high school.

Steve Wiltfong over at 247 says he thinks Jamyest will stick with us.
Crystal balls have us also getting Brad Johnson, Aaron Sterling and the previously mentioned Javon Kinlaw. DL getting major upgrades.

And the man who helped us out with Jamyest coming in at the 11th hour. Former Muschamp CB and projected 1st round draft pick Jalen Tabor tweeted at Jamyest asking him where he is going and telling him he hopes that he chooses Carolina.

Has Whittle indicated what led him to CB the Wyatt flip? Hadn't seen anything about it on TBS or on Twitter, so I just wanted to check.

The crazy thing regarding Wyatt is now #1 they are indicating he comes to us but also #2 uf has pulled even with uga right behind us. Recruiting never ceases to amaze

How are the #'s for your recruiting class looking? I ask because one of the reasons given that beal could ultimately flip to us is that the #'s are getting tight over there and it may effect his recruitment.
Exactly what was said was that Beal does like the idea of going to USC more than his post visit comments indicate and the #'s being tight over there could be the deciding factor.

We have 23 guys committed and room for 3, possibly 4 if the right guy wanted come in (Nico Collins and Jamyest Williams are thought to be the 2 that would always have a spot; I highly doubt we get either at this point). Beal is our top DL and we have no shot what-so-ever at Aubrey Solomon, so Beal's spot is secure. We rotate our DL a lot so there is the opportunity for early PT as well. There is very little worry from our end on Beal, but these are 17-18 year old kids and they surprise you every now and again.
Edit: I could also see us landing Ameer Speed and Markaviest Bryant and calling it a day at 25, saving the extra scholarship for whichever kicker wins the job in fall camp. We also expect several scholarships to open up during/after spring, though.

We definitely aren't expecting a Beal flip. Would love it but it's definitely a long shot. If think we get wyatt back and hold jamyest. Close with kinlaw, sterling, carty, wyatt, Johnson, and Williams. That is a nice close.

On the UGA side of the house, most don't see Wyatt flipping, but like mentioned before, this is recruiting and shite happens.
As of today, both Bulldawg 247 Mods do not believe he flips, tifwiw.
I believe the JUCO DT who is allegedly 50/50 with us and Ole Miss is our Wyatt insurance policy, so at least we have a backup plan.
Should be an interesting Wednesday.
