I haven't read that he is a legacy. He is from Aceworth, Georgia and transfered to a academy in Greenville.

His grades were supposedly questionable early in the season but he did the work in class, which is why he started getting looks from the bigger schools.

Mike Green is coming on as a walk on. He is from MB and can shoot the 3.

The only pull would be him coming home but from a team standpoint we need big men more than another guard. You can't ever discount the power of coming hone though.

He’d have to sit out a year right?
I would think one year to build of the team (i don’t see us going to the tourney next year) would maybe help.

Although his final are Michigan and Gonzaga.

Would be stupid to turn either down in terms of where their programs are compared to ours

But i guess depends on PT.

I honestly wonder if Michigan and Gonzaga are actually real opportunitys for him. Kinda think he may come here and sit out the year due to the pull of home. Seems he has been in college for ever as he and Aja were friends in highschool.

I hope we’d get him.
He would easily be the most talented player on the roster

I don't know. Lawson is pretty damn good and Bryanf is a beast.

But by that time Lawson will be in the NBA (seventh has to sit)
And Seventh within be a senior with many years of experience under his belt

Um no woods wouldn't be the most talented if he came here. Lawson is.

So Lawson isn’t going pro after next year, the year seventh will be active?
Or what about his 3 years experience?

Plus his talent?

Pure speculation on Lawson at this point. Woods has talent but is not all world. He couldn't break the starting 5 at uncheat.

I’m mostly fricking with you on the Lawson stuff.

I think he stays all 4 years

But this isn’t anything to put seventh down for.
He came in the year they won the title and behind MOP and All American Joel Berry for two years

Then this year behind most likely top 5-6 draft pick

Woods was also a top 10 player coming out of hs.

Don't get me wrong I would welcome him home but he wouldn't be our basketball savior.

I agree wasn’t saying that just saying he’d be an influx of talent we need greatly and IMO due to his experience practicing with a national championship team would be the most talented

Also he wasn’t top ten he was only a 4 star and just inside the top 50

When he was in middle school I think he , at one time, was one of if not the top ranked player. Puberty makes some kids peak early.

Yea i know.
But point being made going into college he wasn’t that highly ranked.
He was a good player and good enough to get recruited by UNC.
But they recruit much better players than him.

Even if Woods comes to USC and red-shirts, he will still be a part of the roster, just like Bolden and Couisnard were part of the roster last season.

So if Woods came to USC, he would be roster teammates with Lawson, and no he would not be the most talented player on the roster....

Agree to disagree
Think he would be.
But we all have our opinions

I'm going with Conway on this one. Seventh, while talented, reached his ceiling while Lawson is just as talented but has ceiling to grow.

Would be nice have Woods as pg and Lawson playing shooting guard.
