So fricking brutal. Terrible defense.

Our program is crumbling into pieces right before our eyes.....

Turned off that garbage tbh. Couldn't deal with it anymore.

I think the next HC is going to be a great hire. We'll have a down year this year, but the recruiting has been really strong. Someone's going to have a loaded deck when they get here next year. Ray has a lot of connections in college baseball, he'll have people clawing for that job.

I really really want Monte Lee tbh if he's still avail when Holbrook's time is done, whenever that may be.

It's pathetic ... but I saw it coming early-on.
Tonight was indicative of the new mindset. B1st, center fielder major error ... he acts like the sun got in his eyes.
Ends-up costing us two runs and the game was over before it began.
I'll say it again. This team reminds me of some of June Raines final teams before we fired him and hired Ray.
But y'all do not underestimate Ray's loyalty to Chad Holbrook. Ray would not fire Chad after this season even if we had a losing record ... which we are headed-for it appears and, at the very least, there is no way we'll host this year.
This is so not-cool. This is really on the verge of getting totally out of hand.

I'm not abandoning ship quite yet, but we really need to make a statement VERY soon. We've played the easy part of our SEC schedule already and it's only going to get tougher. Disappointed as hell but I'm keeping the faith that we can turn things around and salvage a decent season.

Gotta hope Wynkoop deals today and we can tie the series back up to 1 a piece.
I really like todays lineup:
Only problem maybe is no Madison Stokes, but Arendas swung the bat well yesterday, so not a huge issue with me.

1-0 SC heading to the Bottom of the 2nd. In a rain delay atm, of course. Hope this does not last very long, especially since Wynkoop got the start.

Play will resume at 5:25 EST, KMart was seen warming up in the bullpen.

An error by Gore on a routine play leads to fricking 6 unearned runs. Why do I subject myself to this torture.

Is it red flag time yet?
What an awful sports year so far.

Thank God for WBB and the Men's team at least showing improvement.

Who knew basketball season would be the most enjoyable time for the sports year this past year?

Also, why the frick was Patrick Harrington pinch hitting for someone in the 9th? Do you just want to play with 2 outs to go in the 9th?

Another streak that came to an end today.
After today's loss it's the first time we've lost 3 straight SEC series since the 2006 campaign.

I like the Monte Lee idea. Young, from SC, experience as an assistant here, and demonstrated success as a head coach.
Holbrook will be here next year. But when the trigger is pulled, this is still a top-5 job in the country. Holbrook can't drive the whole program into the dirt.

by far the most puzzling and just...bizarre decisions for CH in some time - and that's sayin something.
take down Koch who had 2 hits? let him swing away for a 3rd hit and then pinch run Harrington for him if he gets on.
here's what CH said ...
"We had to get someone with a plate approach in there and Koch has done fine, he had two hits today. But trying to get a leadoff-type mentality up there. I think you have a little bit better chance getting a leadoff guy on with a guy who can run a little bit.
It didn’t work out. Patrick usually has a good at-bat, doesn’t chase a breaking ball in the dirt. That guy has a pretty good breaking ball but he chased it today."
