I tend to agree but the way we have quit is disheartening.
UNC was praying to get 5 innings out of their pitcher and he looks like fricking matt roth.
And you know i loath holbrook but the homeplate ump set the tone early for the screwjob and our boys rolled over and unbuttoned their bras.

I could not agree more ... this was terrible all the way around.
But it'll help our RPI even more so ... half glass full sort of thing.

As always, you are correct.
Some of these dudes they just brought in look like they came out of a bar. I like the move by holbrook to go deep on the bench cause the regulars quit tonight. shite, play somebody who might want to play.

I've got some friends up there, sitting in my seats, who called to ask what it was looking like on TV ... they said when Widener left the field he had words with the ump and it kept on for awhile ... I guess during the commercial.

9 pitchers used in one game has to be a record, right?
I'm concerned about our pitching depth, beyond our weekend starters and Reagan there's not much to be excited about for our pitching staff. We really need another John Taylor to emerge as a solid middle relief guy.

What an arse kicking.
We have post season depth, as long as Schmidt and Webb and Reagan are healthy. We have the pitchers to win 3 games, after that, we're in trouble against deeper staffs.
Right now we look at a team who MUST win games 1 & 2 in Regionals, Super's, or the CWS. If we have to start using our weekday guys in the post season, we'll be in trouble.

Other than one or two outings, I feel good about Tyler Johnson. Need to get the taste of last night out of our mouths this weekend with a series win.
