Sad part is that’s not even sarcasm. Last night sucked but most of us knew it was going to happen.

I’d also be willing to bet if you said you could win 2 of 3 from Kentucky/A&M/Mizzou, most of us would’ve picked Kentucky and A&M

We’re the luckiest and worst 5-3 team in the nation. But we’re 5-3. Beat Vandy. Might be the last win of the season

The best line our two schools can agree on is " we feel your pain". With that said, I root for you guys most of the time when we aren't playing each other. Scar is by far my second favorite in the SEC. I just wanted to drop by and wish you guys good luck the rest of the way.

Both schools are just about mirror images of each other, but you've certainly had more success in the conference than we have.

Best of luck the rest of the way.

Kentucky has a tendency to bounce back after getting shellacked but A&M is in full on dumpster fire mode. But for a string of freakishly unlucky plays (an Arkansas specialty!) we would have run them off the field.

7 wins gets you pretty nice bowl game, and likely one close to home. Not great but it could be Auburn firing their head coach level bad instead.

Its weird to have beaten those two and yet all the powerrankings have us outside the SEC top 10. that mizzou loss really hurt.

We never deserved that #25 ranking, it was all smoke and mirrors. Even so, 7-5 is still attainable...

I don’t think it was smoke and mirrors
Just think it came at the right time.
There are not a lot of good college football teams. It’s the top 3 or 5 and everyone else
Maybe it will take some time but NIL and the transfer portal has just made the rich richer

Missouri is a really underrated team IMO. Very strong defense but their offense loses them games. I know we’re all too familiar with that situation.

I think Missouri beats Kentucky today

ETA: before anyone accuses me of such, I want to make it clear that this is not a “South Carolina isn’t as bad as they look” post

I thought Mizzou was going to win that game honestly. I wanted them to beat UK. I don't buy the UK hype

The issue is health

UK just has always been killed by lack of depth where somebody like UGA or Tide just reload when they lose a key starter. Before the season I said UK could go undefeated or could go 6-6.

Injured QB - you can tell by the play calls the staff is protecting him more
Lost key O line guys needed
Lost key guy (captain if memory serves) off the D

I would like to see what the schools would do with what they have starting the season but it just does not happen to the mid and low their schools in this conference.

Levis has not been great, but teams get zero sympathy from me with injuries. We have been decimated with injuries the last 3 years and zero people outside of SC stuck up for us. So I just refuse to think they are that good.

I am not complaining, just saying there are schools that have depth and schools that do not. UK does not so a potentially record year goes in the toilet as they just can not reload.

UK is a football "have not" while Tide is a "have"
This is the reality
