Is anyone making the trip this weekend? I'm still at a toss up since I can't find anyone who wants to go.

Ugh. There are many trips in the SEC that I'd like to take, but this ain't one of them.

Texas, outside of San Antonio, is a shithole.

We already have one cult here in SC. I have no desire to visit another. Some strange folks in Aggie Land.

I want to go to every SEC stadium at least once.

Only been to Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Florida, LSU, and Bama so far.

I'll grant you that our town and campus are lacking in the beauty department, but I think you would enjoy our game day atmosphere and stadium if you ever made a trip.

Spent two years in CStat for school.

As WBS alluded to, it may not be the most aesthetically pleasing school but that doesn't matter much.

1) Most of the building in and around the stadium are quite nice on the inside.

2) Ags are a good crowd. A friend of mine flew out 2 years ago while I was still in school. Went to a Halloween party the night before and every time we got split up I found someone new introducing themselves and saying welcome.

They're good people.

That they may be, but they're fun to take the piss out of.

All kidding aside, I've just never had much desire to make the trip. I didn't like giving up Arky as the permanent opponent, and it's hard to generate any feelings about aTm, other than their on-Rant arrogance, anyhow. That we'll likely never experience a win against them is but a small component for my indifference.

Garnet, I remember you posting when you were here in school. I hope things went well for you and are using that Aggie Masters to become filthy rich.

Anyone else coming don't forget to stop by the tailgates. Wear your SC clothes and you will eat and drink well and be welcomed.

Sorry both teams are struggling.

You sir are misguided. Austin is the top spot to visit. DFW is cool. San Antonio has shopping and theme parks. Fun time for the family I guess, but there are so many better places to go visit. College Station is a nice town and Aggies are a friendly bunch. Come have a beer with us bro.

Think you may be surprised this year

Holler if yall have any questions. First SEC home game and 6:30, so it should be a great atmosphere.

Not quite. But it's not a bad starting job.

If you could plug me into some wealthy Texas oil or anything else, that would be cool.

That caveat saved you, tbh

Was about to get my feelings hurt.

Hmm, in hindsight I guess I should have hoped the team wouldn't leave before the 4th quarter.

This X 1000.

My friend and I made the trip there and I will certainly be back in a couple of years. College Station and their fans are definitely class acts.
