I was at the very first official game in the Carolina Coliseum ... and the very last.
Never thought about it before now, but there are probably not too many people still around who can honestly claim that.
Saw many a great player play many a great game in that place. A ton of good memories with my Dad, brothers, sister, old girlfriends, both wives, three of my kids ... it was some kinda special in the day. Students used to camp out for tickets for days.

Really liking those kids, as well as Cobb although he hasn't yet settled in, although with how the veteran bigs plus Silva have played it's been hard to get him many minutes. But he still seems to be a bit green and needs to keep learning, while both Dozier and Silva look like they've already spent a year in college and are ready to flex their games NOW.
We'll need our Lithuanians to show up Friday more than they did tonight. Also need good perimeter defense: Clemson will shoot from the 3 a lot and like to spread the floor and dribble drive a lot or kick out to the 3 shooter if able. We'll need our team ready to give 100%....

Anyone else thinking of going up to Greenville Friday night?
We're mulling the idea around since we have to be in that area for a Senator's party Saturday anyways, before we head to Tennessee on Sunday.
I hope a lot of Gamecock fans show-up and show-out.
