He's no Andy Cannizaro and doesn't have 6 years of MLB scouting experience for the Yankees... but i suspect he'll be better than some SEC coaches like maybe mike bianco if you are lucky who isn't bad just has stiff competition.

Has coached under Tim Jamieson, Jim Schlossnagle, and Dave Van Horn. All very accomplished guys.
Most of Jamieson's success at Mizzou came while Vitello was on his staff there.
