This hasnt been discussed. I was at the game, and the crowd was very loud. LSU had to use silent counts most the night. Crowd noise affects the offense a lot. I wonder how Alabama would handle the noise in New Orleans. I have to believe the majority of the crowd would be pro LSU.

Alabama would have close to as many people there, but it wouldnt be homefield like it was Saturday, which I assume is your point.

Yeah, but some of our crowd was stupid enough to be loud while we were on O, too. The O kept having to tell the crowd to quiet down. For as many good, knowledgeable fans as we have, there are some morons among them too.

The crowd at the LSU / Ohio St. game was close to 80% / 20%. Most of sponsers are LSU fans. I just think it would be a different feel for both teams. LSU would clearly have an advantage on offense. With that being said, Alabama D is still very good.

I noticed a couple times LSU players pumping the crowd up when we were on D. I wasn't sure if it was LSU fans making noise or if they were sarcastically doing it to the Bama fans.

I can assure you, there would be plenty of Bama fans. We may be the best traveling fan base in the country, and if not, we're pretty damn close. And it's not just our willingness to travel, our fans will buy every damn ticket we can get our hands on and very few will sell tickets to non-bama fans regardless of where the game is. Which is why tickets to the game Saturday were so high.

There would be plenty of Bama fans for sure but New Orleans is still the Tiger's turf. Most of the dome would be P & G. Ask Ohio State or Oklahoma. They travel pretty well also.

You're delusional if you think Bama would have more than 30% of the crowd

bama would max at like 40 percent our fans if we were lucky in new orleans.

Yep. A whole lotta blue hairs.

Another good argument against a re-match. I want to keep those ticket prices as low as possible. I am rooting for Stanford. They don't even fill their own stadium.
