Does bama's band ever play?

Since there wasn't much of a game on the field I had time to notice other things, and it seemed like the band was just doing cheers while piped in music was playing. Does the million dollar band play?

It plays a lot, but you're right that it's mixed in with the piped in music. The only time it's just the band playing is during timeouts and after scores and first downs.
