After looking at the games played so far....It appears the best quality win so far in the SEC goes to Georgia beating Notre Dame-on the road. Yes, Bama and Auburn have been impressive so far....other than the showing against Clemson, Auburn hasn't played anyone too scary. Bama is rolling-but their wins are over teams that are not scaring too many as well..and A&M looks like the toughest test they had so far. So now in conference play-things could get interesting

as much as I hate to give Gumps credit, remember the Seminoles only suck because they lost their star QB in that game during a rebuilding year.

Notre Dame > NC State? close.

We’ll find out in 3 weeks. But NC State is mainly ranked because they beat an FSU team people thought would be good, but isn’t with the back up QB.
I think as of now, ND is the better win.

I mean they also beat Louisville
Who has ND beat? Sparty?
The fact that it was @ND gives the edge to UGA for best OOC win, IMO. So I guess it doesn't really matter

Are we sure Louisville is good?

That's the best win between the two teams, is it not?
With that logic are we certain that ND is good?

Notre Dame looks good, but they've only really played Georgia. Michigan State is not very good and only ranked because they beat an overrated Michigan team.
Notre Dame's got a currently ranked opponent in 5 of their final 6 games. We will find out just how good they are soon enough.

That, and their OL is a disaster.

I will definitely give you this... I think more highly of the ND win now than I did when you beat them. I also think more highly of our NC State win than when we beat them. Sparty beating Michigan this weekend gave ND their only real quality win. It is actually the only win ND has against an opponent with a winning record. NCST has beaten FSU and Louisville however they have both proven to be shells of their former selves this year.

Michigan State is a better win than Louisville as of now.

Completely agree with all of this.

So they were overrated to begin with.
