If we would have had a cupcake game then we would probably be in 80s. The thing I really like is that we are running the ball much better than at any time since we plowed UGA for 400 yds rushing back when Boom was HC.

You out rush your opponent, you automatically have a 89% chance of winning as long as you don't have too many turn overs/flags or give up too many return yds etc etc. As much as I love seeing bombs thrown...we have to run well. The run and the pass both help one another....run well and safetys and LBs tend to stay in a split second or two longer (and bite on fakes), throw well deep and the reverse helps the run game.

We have a lotta youth and they are still learning on offense...WRs and RBs have to block well. When your RB is tackled for short gain by a CB...its usually means your WR missed a block. The good news the youth on the team are learning and will get better. Hammond and Swain are still learning and developing....let alone true frosh.

I really like the variety we're seeing in our runs, too. It's something we kind of missed with Muschamp -- the counter worked really, really well and got us 5 yards a pop.

We're getting first downs, we're converting on third and while we ARE missing blocks, we have a lot of underclassmen all over the field. This isn't our year, it wasn't really supposed to be after we lost both offensive impact players before it even started, but we're winning games.

We're winning games a few years ago we would have dropped for sure, and the offense every day looks better.

The defense could use some work, but when you lose 5 defensive players on the line and the backers, then you have 5 freshmen rotating into the CB area -- what can anyone expect?

We just have to take care of bidness.

UF needs Cleveland healthy. He has 40% of the teams receiving yards. I worry about not having him for LSU and TAMU at 100%.

The running game is legit though.

Good. The defense concerns me more than the offense at this point. There is no 2-deep. They're flying around but still young. The run defense has looked much better than it was against Michigan, but pass d has not. TAMU scares me more than LSU does.

I hope this offense puts 40 on LSU. They deserve it.

I don't care wha the stats are, UF's offense was the best unit on Saturday. It has been awhile.

I saw that 20 different players made tackles against Vandy, We are playing a lot of players. Future is bright. Just need to work on tackling.

Three deep on the defense line. That is where deep is the most important.

Too bad we didn't get a cupcake opponent to boost our numbers.
