Is when I officially got off the Gus Bus. I may have been the last one on it but that's the straw that broke this camel's back

It hurts knowing how much I spent to go watch that game now.

We all wanted to believe Malzahn was the guy. After 2013 and most of 2014, it looked good.

It's time we ackowledge reality: he is past his time. He's done. Was figured out long ago and can't change.

We just need a good defense guys. If we can get that we will be unstoppable.

That was the play I realized nothing has changed.

He is who we thought he was. I didn't like the hire as I didn't really like the chizik hire. After 2010 and 2013 I thought maybe I could have been wrong, but time tells, and it's at this time that we're realizing Gus isn't a long term option.

If I had a dollar for every time I've said that over the last decade.

It was another creative play by Gus, Cox in singleback formation on 4th and 1 nobody expected him to get the ball for a between the tackles run.

worst than the cox cat was the inability to call some plays to get the ball out of stidhams hands quickly. 11 sacks is laughable

There are only two options to have a chance to win the rest of the games:

1. Malik Willis starts and runs the 2013 offense with Martin and Pettway coming in for short yardage downs.

2. Gus resigns, Steele interim and Chip actually gets to run his offense with intermediate, quick release pass routes so defenses can't load the box/blitz nonstop.

That's it.

I'd prefer the 2nd option.

Quarterback injuries have killed us the last few years. Just look at how great we were when White was healthy last year! Stidham will be a difference maker in this offense!

This is the kind of play that fruatrates the shite out of me. Instead of lining up and playing big boy football, and punching it in the end zone, we run a low percentage play to the guy with the least athletic talent in terms of running the ball. We are making basic football a hundred times harder than it needs to be.

It's obvious now watching the game replay that I see what is happening.

There is no other explanation.
He's throwing the games.

It is like after the first quarter Gus forgot that quick pass routes of 5-15 Yards exist

Ya Stidham wasn't throwing, but it was very clear the "3 step drop routes" weren't being run to get the ball out of his hands

Maybe Gus is not mentally stable?
