So what your saying is we did show some elements of a new offense?

Love it. His lateral agility means we can use him as a legitimate weapon. People love to rag on him, but I hope he continues kicking arse

I think we ran a very simplistic version of CL's offense and tried to focus on execution. The execution was much better in the second half.

Love his little hop before making his cut in his route. It's just like a point guard setting someone up for a crossover.

I thought 2 of the biggest mistakes were when we ran a RPO and kept it to throw. It's tough to have pass protection while run blocking.

Play 1, no play action but the lineman are run blocking.
Play 1

Play 2, KJ thought he was keeping the ball. This play is on Stidham. He just didn't see the linebacker and should have gave it to KJ.
Play 2

Whenever GSU brought 6 on the blitz during a pass play, pass protection was good.

Hastings always does that shuffle-hop takeoff. I don't know if he's told to do that or not, and I don't know if its a good or bad thing. But ever since I noticed, its drives me crazy

He's taught to do it. It's for timing purposes and it's easier to make a cut coming out of a jump than just running.

seems to be a white WR thing. Edelman does that too. Works pretty dang well.

That game breakdown is solid. Definitely feeling more optimistic now.

I re-watched the game and feel a lot better. Just a lot of knee-jerk reaction on my part when I watched it live.

I know the feeling. I was hungover by halftime in the student section having my own little personal pity party about the O-line and Stidham not throwing for 500.

Who would have guessed attacking the middle of the field, instead of completely abandoning it, is successful.

Speaking of attacking the middle field, I frequently have SECN on as background noise. I'm almost to the point of not listening when it's anything Florida just because of Shark fricker's stupid fricking "Hey diddle diddle dude down the middle" mantra.
