Coppy told A List members that Gohara will be called up when rosters expand next week. Also said they will exercise Flowers option and are working on an extension with Suzuki.

In other news, Keith Law (who broke Touki and Gohara promotions and is pretty good friends with Coppy and Kiley) said today he expects Acuna to be called up within the next week or so.

Exciting stuff, these guys have absolutely flown through the minors after starting the year in A+.

If Acuna does get called up, Braves Twitter will be UNBEARABLE anytime Markakis or Kemp make an error.. heck, even when they strike out. I can already see the "why call up Acuna if you're not going to play him over ______" tweets.

Acuna better play every day if he is called up.

Markakis and Kemp are both replacement level players.

I don't disagree. But if I've learned anything this year, it is that Snitker (or maybe the FO) is way too loyal to struggling vets. Bonifacio.. J. Johnson.. Colon.. Adonis before he got hurt..

Acuna going to AFL. I wouldn't expect him up this season.
