So, who's the leading QB for Tennessee?

The junior in waiting or the greaseball from New Jersey?
Also, Florida's QB will be Franks, right?

Dormady but the race has tightened a bit. Both will play and both would be starters on most teams. Talent is outrageous but the question remains - how will they do in live action.

Big Sleeves Dormady will be the likely start but there's chatter that the One, Geronimo, could get a couple of series in against GT.

Either way, big shoes to fill coming off Dobbs

IYO, which SEC teams do you think both would start for?

Everything I'm reading says the same thing - that they may split time all year, which never seems to be a good idea.
But Dormady is the better overall player?

All depends on when live action hits but not just SEC teams which I wasn't even considering. However, UK, UF, SC (yeah I said it), quite likely UGA (said it again) and more are very possible. DV all ya want.
Talent wise there's little question. PT is another matter and some guys fold like cheap suits - could be ours.

And since when is it controversial to say talent is there but they could fold under the lights? Some insecure folks up in here if that's all it takes.

Oberyn will volunteer (Fark credit to Idlewatcher)

Will still finish with a better record than rum ball.

Is that Sumlin's new nickname? Because Rumlin would have been way better.

Dormady has a big time arm, much better than Dobbs' arm if we are being honest but is nowhere near as athletic. And I'm skeptical how Butch will adjust his offense for a pocket passer.
Guarantano otoh is probably the better fit for what Butch wants out of a quarterback and probably has more potential in the long run.
I hope both get plenty of snaps against GT and Indiana State so this is settled by the time Florida week rolls around.
Also, Dormady will be rocking the old school, loose sleeves this year, which is kind of neat.

Cripple fight? Whoever doesn't fire the coach this year is the real loser.

They won't split time although the chosen one will have packages. JG's arm is as big as Dormady's but Dormady has the devil's touch.

I concede your point. Rumlin is wayyy better as a nickname.

I thought the Vols were from Tennessee? You clearly live in the state of Delusion.

No one is scared of Georgia's QB.
Bentley's claim to fame is picking apart two of the worst secondaries in CFB. Vanderbilt's QB did the same to us too.
