No FBS opponent has a bye week prior to playing Auburn... Also, other than Alabama, every SEC opponent faces an FBS opponent the week before playing auburn. Those games are as follows:

Mizzou... Purdue
MSU... @UGA
Ole Miss... @bama
LSU... @UF (thanks joe alleva)
Arkansas... @bama
A&M... MSU
UGA... USC

Thought some might find it interesting... the overall schedule is tough, but things could set up nicely.

Glad to see that our brutal road schedule opponents all have an SEC game the week prior.

we have LSU, then a weak Arkansas team, then a bi week to rest and prepare for aTm.

Thats not brutal imo.

I'd laugh if I thought this was an intentional play on words.

Trap game with that attitude, if there's a game they've circled after last year...

Going on the road to Arkanasa in week 8 before the bye is tough. It is the exact same situation we caught Arky in last season which lead to that slaughter.

Sidenote- we all need to troll Arky one last time with that score before the season starts

It's a good thing none of our attitudes actually effect the team. Just because fans, even if it's all of them, think a team is weak doesn't mean the team overlooks them.

I love how other fans think we have so much influence over the team through our words we write or say. It's as if our threads and posts are streaming throughout the football complex.

I've been known to say "one game at a time" about my own focus, but that's just because I tend to dig into the minutiae and try to rip apart every game at the seams. I'm not saying other fans shouldn't look ahead, but once the season starts, I'll be too laser-focused on the next matchups to really have an in-depth opinion on anything beyond it.

I get intense during a game, but outside of that if people want to look ahead or post

15-0 Ship!

I am good with it. I am not highly superstitious either so that may play into it.

I love how other fans...
*** I don't ***

Was just considering how easy it might be for the team to so. And how a more easy win, might be made harder, just speculation. Nothing vicarious here.

We should win this game. However, don't think for a second that score wasn't posted somewhere in their weight room before their plane landed in Arkansas. By weight room, I don't mean Bert's kitchen.
