Back to traditional numbers and shoulder stripes are shorter.

Totally agree. That's the cheap generic shite that they gave us during the Nutt era. When we starting winning, Nike bumped us up to a more expensive jersey; we've been bumped back down:

I see any "unique Nike thing" we get as a plus, superstition aside. Brand is a massive component of basketball crootin', so I feel like it might have some sway for the football

You got a source that we were bumped up then bumped back down?

Cause that sounds like a load a shite IMO. I don’t believe that we would get bumped up or down a jersey level based on winning/losing

The only thing I don't like is the shoulder stripes don't go all the way.

Sometimes these companies, just for the sake of change, screw their products up. We can add Nike teams jerseys now it would appear to the Honda Accord for about a 5-year stretch.
