I know enough to know Horry is overrated as all get out. Dude was a mediocre 3 point specialist. He was just lucky as frick to play on several teams w/all time great bigs that sucked defenders away from him in an era when there weren't too many stretch 4s which made him look more impressive than he actually was. If he had been on the Suns his entire career he'd already be forgotten.

The Lakers do not 3 peat without Horry and the Rockets didn't do shite after trading him 4 Barkley!

His stats aren't great but he was pivotal in all championship runs!

He was clutch.
He wasn't called Big Shot Bob for no reason. He hit several very crucial shots in the last seconds of several playoff games.

Over 10 years in the league is a nice retirement account.

Yeah, these people are crazy. Robert Horry was a bad arse on the court. That Rockets team he was on with Kenny Smith and Olajuwon (sp?) was goddamn ridiculously good. And Horry was a huge part of that success.

A role player for sure, but one of the best role players I've ever seen. Did everything on the court he possibly could and did it all well.

I guess that's why he was known as "big game Bob", huh?
