Rebel Grove reported that Strong has interest in the Ole Miss job. It all comes down to the NCAA case and if he wants to leave South Florida after only one year. He has been on Ole Miss staff before and has recruited the south before.

My guess is they will have a deal in place not long
after the sanctions are announced . Need to try
and salvage the early signing period. Don't think
they take a chance on an up and coming coach.
If the sanctions are manageable we should be able to hire a reputable coach.

When was Charlie here at UM? Who was the HC?

I bet we give the staff we have now a chance I think; mainly because we will be on probation, anyway. So why not? Let's see what the entire staff can do. So in 2018 we will know who to keep while we look around for a HC.
