Florida A&M @ Arkansas (War Memorial Stadium, Little Rock, AR)
Georgia Southern @ Auburn
Charleston Southern @ Mississippi State
Missouri State @ Missouri
NC State @ South Carolina (Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte, NC)
Michigan @ Florida (AdvoCare Classic, AT&T Stadium, Arlington, TX)
Kentucky @ Southern Miss (M.M. Roberts Stadium, Hattiesburg, MS)
Appalachian State @ Georgia
South Alabama @ Ole Miss
Florida State @ Alabama (Chick-fil-A Kickoff Classic, New Mercedes Stadium, Atlanta, GA)
Vanderbilt @ Middle Tennessee (Johnny "Red" Floyd Stadium, Murfreesboro, TN)
BYU @ LSU (NRG Stadium, Texas Kickoff Classic, Houston Texas)
Texas A&M @ UCLA (Rose Bowl, Pasadena, CA)
Tennessee @ Georgia Tech (Chick-fil-A Kickoff Classic, New Mercedes Stadium, Atlanta, GA)
So 8 teams start "on the road/at neutral locations" and 6 start at home.
Interesting match ups across the board as well.
Feel free to discuss.
My personal question is:
Why are SEC Teams playing in some of these locations to start the season...some locations make sense, others do not...you know what I mean.
Where is the Logic?
Please provide your own input/questions/comments as you feel compelled to do so.
If I have made any errors, then please feel free to correct me and I will add the appropriate edit(s).
Please discuss.

We play one game a year in Little Rock now. May as well rip the band-aid off early and get it over with.

I think people in general (both Arkansas and opposing team's fans) like Fayetteville better. That was a good decision.

And as far as Stadiums go, I personally loved NRG in Houston.
It was really fun despite our Sugar Bowl loss to Oklahoma last season. It was very "open" and enviting. LSU and BYU fans should have a GREAT experience.
I don't see why it gets so much hate. It is a lovely venue.

Why do you guys hate to play at Little Rock?
I honestly don't know. I am just going by what other people say for a trip.
Is it really bad?

I call it the Wardump
It is a worn out, old venue. The fans in Little Rock and South Arkansas don't support it anymore.
Time for it to be laid to rest.
ETA: Coming from a fan that went to games there starting in the 60's.

Look out for this one. Big game next week @Notre Dame for Georgia. Appalachian State returns 13 starters including the QB and the Sunbelt player of the year at halfback.

Playing Tennessee will be fun. When I first began college, we continued to play Auburn and Tennessee every year even though we were in the ACC.

Because apparently South Carolina opening the season with an easy win at home would cause a rift in the space-time continuum and jeopardize the existence of humanity as we know it.
