Soon I suspect Florida State will be at or near the top of many lists like this. Always heard their fans are terrible.

Worst:
1. 2004 at Tennessee
2. 2015 versus Michigan State in Arlington
3. 2007 versus LSU

Best
1. 2002 at Oklahoma
2. 2012 at Arkansas
3. 2006 at LSU

LSU manages to make in on both lists. Shows how much the matchup changed, after Saban was hired in 2007.

I've only ever had bad experiences with Tennessee fans and the little brother type Auburn fans.

I'll play from an OSU perspective

Best:

Oklahoma St., Oregon and Texas

Worst:

Florida, PSU and Michigan

Florida was probably deserved, based on what I heard OSU fans saying before the game. PSU fans are notoriously known for throwing piss bags at opposing fans, and Michigan fans are insufferable.

Michigan/OSU is such a different type of rivalry than others. It is billed as a Haves vs the Have-nots, rich and snobby vs the working class. It isn't even really like that, but both sides still play it up to the extreme.

I'll never forget going to the 2007 game in Ann Arbor and the shock on a kid's face when i told her that yes, I did in fact have a job in NYC

So you guys are the haves and Michigan are the have-nots? I imagine it is a lively atmosphere at those games.

Not the haves as in having the good football lately. Michigan is the rich/preppy kids, so they are the "haves" while OSU kids historically came from the working class.

Georgia fans absolutely were the worst when I went to Athens in 2003. The game sucked, too. Brandon Avalos - in after Croyle and Pennington had been knocked out -- tripping on blades of grass as he ran for his life didn't help. I haven't been back since and I didn't go to the SEC title game against them so I can't say whether it was an isolated bad day or not.

DisHonorable Mention: FSU- if you lived among them, you would understand. The worst thing we ever did was lose that 2007 shitshow against them in Jax. If we lose again in Atlanta in Sept, I'll have to move or slit my wrists. They NEVER shut up about beating us and that game was terrible.

quoted for truth. i'm moving if we lose to them again. you'd think that 2007 was the real game of the century around here.

Everything I've heard is that Michigan is no different than some of your other blue blood programs, in that they have a large sidewalk fan base. Love the "PureMichigan" parody videos that made fun of them.

Was this during the 90's or the Sugar Bowl? I've heard nothing but good things about them from people that went to New Orleans.

I went to the Sugar Bowl in 2015 and they were awful. Other B1G fans were right when they say Ohio State has a terrible fan base.

I feel like I've heard mostly positive things from the Sugar Bowl. I am more a person who likes to grab a beer with the opposing fanbase and talk friendly shite than argue about a result before a game happens. Why talk real shite and get into fights about something that is supposed to be fun and neither party in the argument has any input in the outcome of the game

See I had fun I NOLA with OSU fans. There was some banter between both fan bases, but I never saw anything hostility or anything like that. Everyone got along and had fun. Bought a pitcher for one guy from Canton, OH at the Rusty Nail the night before and he wished me well.

I will say, this guy is a huge fricking douche. I doubt OSU fans even like him:

Worst -
1) Auburn - but only the first year Bama played there
2) Florida - took a 3 day old car to UF game in 99, came home with a smashed in bumper and no idea how it happened
3) UT - I'll never forgive my sister for marrying a Vol

Best -
1) Auburn - all the other years I've been there its been quite nice. I went to AU for 3 years so have several friends who go to all the games
2) Ole Miss - one year there was a big rain storm a couple of hours before the game started. Was walking around looking for tickets. Had a limo pull up and hand 2 tickets out the window and drive off. Was on the 40 yard line half way up. Still have no idea who it was
3) Ark - was the same day LSU threw for 50 pick 6s against AU (I think), both sets of fans were just shocked by watching the scores of that game
