These Round of 32 appearances are going to turn into sweet 16s and elite 8s soon. Maybe even final fours.
This year we had a team that could win on the road and at neutral sites. They won most of the close games and made some comebacks.
Final game of the year Mike was able to use the press to rattle UNC. That's something we haven't been able to do against top tier teams.
Sad we lost but it was a great game to watch and makes me look forward to the future.

We just have to hope no one unexpected leaves and we can keep stacking talent. It seems to be our curse recently that, everytime we start to move forward, someone bolts early.

This made me sick but am proud of those Hogs today.

Next two recruiting classes have me excited about the future

It's strange to say this about a loss, but we might look back at this as a game that restored the fan base. Everyone is going to be excited for next year if Macon and Barford come back. Should help with those ticket sales

We'll miss Kingsley's rim protection. I hope Barford stays and the new recruits play great. We need another group that was as close and played as hard for each other as this team did. It can't be understated; this was a team that believed in each other and themselves. We won battles on the road. We won tough games at neutral sites. I hope next year's team can match that intensity. If they do, it may be a team that advances beyond this weekend.

next year's team will be our re arriavl to the big stage .
we lose kingsley and we will miss him no doubt. but i would venture to say everything else is addition by subtraction
we lose hannahas who can score but has arse cheek tight syndrome in big games an he's 6'2. . you replace him with 6
6 garland
you replacce watkins with 6'6 hall
and you add a 7 footer that is a rebounding macchine
also hazen and jones will see more playing time
teams thought we ran a lot this year haven't seen shite..
we will have legit 6'6 is wing players for the first time since ron brewer
if i'm mike i go and get me a big man that can eat up boards as a grad transfer and go all in for this coming year we can make a run next year

Yeah, I love Hannahs but ultimately he's not what we need on the court. He was an obvious weakness against the better teams this year.

His defense was a HUGE hole. You legit couldn't have him in.
That's why Beard had to play so much, even when he wasn't doing well on the offensive end.
And his decision making went to shite towards the end of the year. He was forcing everything the last 3-4 games in the paint and that is not his style.

I kind of felt that his (Hannahs) shot selection fell off a little bit, but he showed a better ability to get to the basket. He was also a better defender than Rotnei Clarke was for what it was worth, and he definitely got his hand in there and poked away a few steals. Either way, losing him will hurt. You don't lose a shooter and your leading scorer like that and not hurt.
