Overall I am happy with how things have started. Schmidt and Crowe are out there opponents. However, one thing that should hopefully stop soon is the sunday throwaways. Once we get the series in hand, it seems like Holbrook changes the lineup to get some different guys some looks/at bats. I'm cool with that at the beginning of the year to stabilize some things, but there are guys who are just not getting it done. One surprise this past weekend was Hunter Taylor. Had solid defense behind the plate, maybe not quite as good as Cullen, but definitely had more quality at bats than Cullen has been having. We need more consistency on offense as we work towards SEC play. I am glad that we aren't facing cupcake schools like some of our SEC East compadres however.
