Has anyone lost any more heartbreaking losses than UGA in basketball?

That's gotta be tough. Great game though Georgia. Can only imagine how this game would have gone with Maten in. Hope he's okay.

Hang in there. Frazier is fricking awesome.

Mark Fox is a good game planner. Horrid in game coach and too loyal to veteran players. His teams inbound like a high school team and his vets outside of the guys we know suck (no, Juwan Parker is awful).

Well it's not called WAOM because they're good at sports.

This is so far from the truth it's not even funny?

My question is, can other SEC fans believe our fan base is calling for Mark fox's head?

I feel like Fox is on the brink. He can produce guys like Frazier and Maten but schedules his arse off in the OOC so there's no margin of error in conference.

Were you asleep during the Texas A&M game? That game is absolutely 100% his fault. He could have at a minimum DRAWN UP A BETTER INBOUND PLAY INSTEAD OF KEEPING HIS HEAD IN THE SAND.

How about Kessler getting all those mins last year when he is butt and provides nothing but leadership?

How about starting the season with three non scorers in the starting lineup which is a completely idiotic idea?

How about being so stubbornly loyal to your non Frazier/Maten vets that you don't realize they suck and you're searching for a starting lineup for the whole season?

GTFO. Its not about this game, you can absolutely lose games you should lose to.

Its about Clemson.

Its about Oakland.

Its about Texas A&M.

Its about Alabama.

Outside of your Juwan Parker line, you were completely correct.

I'll give you a 90.

I am not too surprised. He made more NCAA tournaments in five years at Nevada than he has in now eight years at UGA. He's had some tough breaks but it's hard to say he's even met the expectations most had for that program when he took over. I do think he's a good coach but it's not surprising some fans aren't happy.

If Jackson doesn't take a monster step forward, Georgia will be one of the worst teams in the SEC in basketball next season. Sure, they'll have some nice athletes and possibly still have a POY caliber player, but they won't have any sort of competency at point guard (Crump is mostly a SG). Football is driven by a quarterback and basketball is driven by the point guard.

2 NCAA Tournaments in 8 years, yea I get it. He feels agonizingly close (and his record proves it), but at some point you have to break through. We went through it with Grant.

His last 4 years have been above average, but this year they were supposed to be a no-doubt tournament team and they've lost some games they shouldn't have. Hell, they lost to Alabama by 20 at home. They lost at home to Marquette by 10. They lost to Oakland. They lost to Clemson. They lost to Texas A&M.

They've lost some close games to good teams (Kentucky, Florida, South Carolin 2x), but they've also blown some games that are the real reason they are where they are. Lose all those close games and beat Alabama, A&M and Oakland and UGA is easily in the tournament.

You should know any team from Georgia will have countless heartbreaking losses. UGA, Falcons, and the braves all have a curse upon them.

Georgia basketball always seems to be on the cusp of being good. Y'all showed you were good last Saturday vs Tenn, and the two games vs Kentucky, but then you'll turn around and lose a game that no one can explain
