I grew up 20 minutes from Winthrop, and my high school coach and Marshall were close friends. There was a big rumor at the time that Marshall would go to SC and take my coach as an assistant.

He would have been a big hire. Are there any names standing out to you guys if Anderson is let go at the end of the season?

Obviously throw the bank at Gregg Marshall, Fred Hoiberg and Archie Miller and hope for the best. If we go the mid major route I like Kevin Keatts at UNC- Wilmington. He went 262–17 at Hargrave and has improved every year at UNC Wilmington. He is 65-26 there and about to take them to their second NCAA tournament in a row.
