Well deserved.

Couple questions. 1) What are the time-frame rules? Did Spurrier's induction get delayed because he was still actively coaching? 2) Was Spurrier inducted as a coach or a player? Does the CFHOFmake that distinction?

Okay, technically four questions, but each pair interrelate.

I think Spurrier was already in as a player.

Okay, thanks. I was surprised he was being inducted this year. Deep down inside, I must have known he was already in. It would be odd if one player who went into coaching had to wait until his coaching career was finished to be inducted while another player who went into insurance didn't have to. Should have thought it through.

BB: Now Steve, don't let your players wear earrings now, ya hear?

Spurrier: 52 to 20, Bobby. 52 to 20.

But seriously, even when Peyton's number was retired at UT the Vols lost to a Spurrier Gamecocks team in 2005.

Spurriers first year
SCs first win vs UT since 1992
SCs first win ever in Knoxville
