Stating the obvious. Spring practice needs to be mostly tackling drills for the defense. I'll continue to give Sirmon and company a pass. They had to install a new system in a short period of time. I assume the coaches came in assuming SEC players were fundamentally sound and could handle basic tackling, but that wasn't the case. Also need to take a long look at our strength and conditioning program and do something different. I rate us lower middle of the pack in the SEC in that regard, and I think that's an area we can improve on that will pay off next year.

S&C is the single biggest factor in college ball. Ohio State and Bama are dominant because they are physically in better condition than their opponents, every single week. Watch an OSU game, everyone on that field is a brick stacked shite house.
