Word is Texas has Mac as one of their backups if they fail to land Herman.
How would you feel if he bolts?

I'd feel sorry for Texas spending all that Money on an average coach. As for replacements Chip Kelly, Kyle Whittingham, Art Briles if not them I'd hire PJ Fleck and not look back. He is a stud and whoever gets him will not regret it.

Our fans are no different than other fans. We have our shits and several of them post here.
However, I'm watching Trinity Christian vs IMG tonight and there is not a single UF commit on either team.
IMG doesn't bother me so much but TC is in Jax. We should be getting some of those kids.
Point it that I don't see Mac recruiting to the level we need to win championships. He's no Spurrier.
I'm beginning to think Mac is not the answer.
Additionally, I still think we are still far behind in facilities and hopefully Strickland fixes that.

Mac isnt going anywhere...why this horse manure?
TJ...you obviously dont read much about some of the coaches you just threw out there....Chip Kelly HATES college football and hates recruiting. He is in the NFL for good and I could care less.
Mother of Pearls I just shake my head at the nonsense. Texas is no better than UF in comparing the two schools. They dont even have a freaking conference...its a joke.
Worrying about recruiting is pointless now...still a ways to go and no one has a crystal ball. We are now 5-1, ranked 15th in the AP and 12th in the coaches poll..its something to enjoy.
We keep winning and we wont be denied the spotlight.
Football is a funny game. Can we go 10-1? Why not? Anything is possible with our defense and special teams.
Every team we play has some warts and when looked at in a brighter light, they are beatable.
UGA? Please....our defense will teach young Eason a few lessons. USC? Not nearly enough talent/depth for 4 qts. Arkie? They dont possess the power run game (even though Raleigh is a very good back) as in years gone by...but a good offensive team with a so so defense. LSU? Not a very good offensive team and one dimensional...defense is good but not great. The girls school? Obviously not as good as advertised and pimped by ESPN to be the Green Bay Packers.
No reason to think we cant win 4 SEC games and an instate rival.

I think Mac can coach, he just needs to step it up in recruiting.
That's my only concern which is probably misled since he's really had 1 full cycle. Just sucks getting punked on NSD by the damn Noles.
