Milo Yiannopoulos, an outspoken and brash gay conservative speaker, usually produces large counter protests and demonstrations when he comes to speak at college campuses. His trip to the University of Alabama was almost completely devoid of any.... just one.

Major props to the protester for having the courage to stand up for what he believes in even when he had to do all by himself.

I find it funny he had none. BLM typically protests his events. Wasn't there like 10-20 of those assholes refusing to stand for the national anthem at a game recently?

Milo is an alt-right political and social media celebrity.

Known for being remarkably conservative as a British gay nationalist. He typically speaks out against feminism, black lives matter, and other social justice trends in today's society.

I give small props for standing there IF his sign is legit. I would have given him mad props if he had at least took a minute to talk with Milo about his motivations and perspective. He didnt act intimidated but almost hardened. Perhaps he was caught off guard and didnt want to get filmed unprepared and feared sounding stupid and unable to articulate his point. It can happen. Perhaps he was afraid of being exposed.

From my understanding.....Milo helped spark the Leslie Jones twitter feud. She didn't handle it too well and of course that enticed the trolls.

And the gay male community do not get along at all.

In fact, they rarely support each other outside of cursory acknowledgement of each other in regards to both being liberal stances. I know gay men who refuse to support feminism even that much.

I simply find it hilarious. Because somehow both movements support Islam.

This is how campuses should react to speakers. Don't protest. Juts let them speak and move on

I think the guy is a selfish dick. But he has every right to speak where he wants and where he is invited.

I'm pretty damn socially liberal. But freedom of speech is critical to a truly free society. Short of trying to incite a riot, anyone can and should say anything, regardless of whether it offends someone.

frick censorship in all of its forms. It's also why I've found it difficult to post on BOL anymore. I've gotten too used to posting here. If you want it censored, there's an option that will do it for you. Me? I want to see every cocksucker and motherfricker someone posts.

Protesting is important. But protesting a speaker is absurd. If anything, you only give that speaker more fame and notoriety. Ignoring someone can be a more powerful form of protest.

Oh, and frick Tennessee.

This is something he readily points out as most majority Muslim nations are vehemently anti-homosexual and a large contingent openly believe that death is an appropriate punishment for being gay
