That much is obvious.

He started laying the groundwork early in the week for only playing in Gainesville on Saturday no matter what.

Zero leadership from him and total heel dragging on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Then, Thursday arrives and they cancel with no contingency plan.

The team is beat up and would have likely lost.

Instead of trying to play the game and leading his team, he finds a way to create the situation where the game won't happen. It is obvious. Everyone sees it. His team will see it. McElwain doesn't believe and looked for an escape hatch.

That type of attitude will be his downfall. It might be 3 or 4 seasons from now, but he won't lead Florida to a championship and he'll eventually be let go.

That is my prediction based on what I saw this week. He really exposed himself during this and this type of character won't change.

The events of the past week. Go back and study what all has been said and done. I don't have time to spoon feed you.

If he can conjure up a hurricane then I don't think he is that concerned about being UF HC anyway.

But hey... that's just me.

Not a forfeit. Did LSU forfeit their game against McNeese State (or whoever it was) last year?

Is he God? Did he send the storm? Pretty powerful stuff, if you ask me

So you make a thread with wild claims, but when I ask for proof, you don't have time to provide me with anything? Sweet.

Lol

UT is a fricking mash unit headed on the road to play a top 10 team, and watching the interviews I can tell that Butch, Dobbs, etc. aren't intimidated in the slightest. Yet UF looks for any possible reason to cancel a home game against an unranked team who would likely have their best player out. The lack of mental fortitude in Gainesville is embarrassing, and it's easy to see just why the VOLS whipped dat arse in the 2nd half. UF is weak.
