I love how that video, which is so ancient now, is all anyone thinks about in relation to Coach O. I still bring it out and watch it for laughs. The humor still holds up.

I don't know that much about Ed O. Only the headline stuff.

That being said, he strikes me as that guy who is very good at a certain segment of the job, but just never makes the step to the big picture, and can't understand why. I am talking about the guy that is constantly making the case for the next big promotion, but you can just never get peace with the idea of doing it, and can't put into words why that is the case.

It's like when your best sales guy believes he should be the VP of sales, and can't understand that they are very different jobs.

Again, just a very low-information observation.

The only good thing from the Shula era? I would never forget. I also won't forget certain members of the media trying to get him promoted since we had "no chance" to get Saban.

Coach O's current record as a SEC head coach: 3-21. 3-21 with Patrick Willis, Mike Wallace, Michael Oher, Dexter McCluster, John Jerry, Peria Jerry, Kendrick Lewis, Greg Hardy. We had a borderline NFL team and went 3-21.

God speed, LSU fans.

post the rest of your roster. y'all were terrible. most of those guys wre underclassmen. a handful of future NFL players is not "basically an NFL team." it's actiually not impressive at all really. no one expects coach o to be the head coach. only ole miss was dumb enough to hire him
