Next to last play, when the tackle was made. Player down with 4-5 seconds left on clock. The clock continued to run down to 1 sec. By rule since there was a flag, shouldn't the clock have been reset to at least 4 sec?

Yes, call the sec office and protest. Record the conversation and post it here.

Should have been 0:02 left on the clock. 0:03 would be a stretch. Officials fricked up.

We need to sue. Move the SEC offices to Atlanta. The whole state of Alabama is eaten up with corruption.

Bottom line.....both teams lost!

The refs made a call LSU disagreed with. Clearly they were scared

Just a comedy of errors that included the officials, the coaches and even the players. No doubt it is disappointing, but no blame should be placed upon the officiating crew. In the end, the correct call was made and the final outcome is correct

Don't get this logic.

Call the FBI to have them investigate.
Fair warning though, they might be too scared of LSU to help.

There should have been a 10 second runoff after the illegal shift, ending the game.

This is what I thought too. Dooley rule.

You laugh at it, yet your own coach accused NORTH LOUISIANA cops as being LSU fans.. which is why they arrested the Bama players..
It really seems ridiculous to have it in a state with 2 SEC teams, why not have it in North Carolina, or Texas, or OU.. keep it somewhat close but with no ties to a state team IMO.
I also think it's ridiculous if any ref is actually a graduate of any SEC school. That should prevent them from officiating games in the conference IMO..
