Where does the LSU administration get their lofty expectations?

You only made 3 bowls in the 30's and lost every one of them. Your record in the 40's was 57-35-5 and you won a total of 1 bowl game. Your record in the 50's was 55-43-8. Won one bowl game. The 60's were a solid decade for LSU. In the 70's your best season was 9-2-1 and you lost every bowl game you went to but two. In the 80's your record was 70-41-5 and you lost every bowl but 1. And we all know how bad the 90's were for LSU. 54-58-1. You were the Georgia (if that) of the West until Saban was hired.
