I really liked the way Ashton was running in the LSU game. I am hoping we see more of him in the near future. Anyone know why he isn't getting more playing time? Injured? fumbling issues?

Not scrappy and undersized. No strain.

That was the first time Shumpert has looked like a capable back the entire time he has been here. It seems like an aboration but we all know he will continue to be used, so hopefully we see more of the same going forward.

He looked competent at times in 2014.

Aeris Williams > Nick Gibson > Kylin Hill > Ashton Shumpert > Brandon Holloway

Holloway is extremely quick and fast. He needs to have the ball in his hands in the open field, so flares, screens, pitches and options.

I'm glad the coaching staff has finally realized that running him up the middle isn't going to yield a positive gain.

To be fair, it's not like he wouldn't have some gains as much as he's better used in open space and how durable if he kept that up.
